Knott's Berry Farm has a variety of special events during the summer. Participate in a massive July 4th celebration, walk through the newly reopened Ghost Town Alive!, and stick around for Summer Nights at Knott's Berry Farm.

July 4th Events

The crowning event of the July 4th celebration is the spectacular fireworks display. During the day, check out Ghost Town Alive, ride your favorite rides, meet characters, and enjoy summer treats. Then, at 9:30 P.M., the park will be overtaken by the incredible July 4th fireworks display.

Ghost Town Alive!

Ghost Town Alive! runs from May 20 through September 5, 2022. Families seeking an adventure can visit Knott's Berry Farm's Town of Calico and be immersed in the wild west. Guests can meet cowboys and bandits, solve robberies, and attend a western hoedown.

Kids can get in on the action and deliver packages and telegrams for residents or play cards with the sheriff. Ghost Town Alive! is a memorable experience that your family will talk about for the rest of the year.

Summer Nights at Knott's Berry Farm

Knott's Summer Nights Party runs from May 20 through September 5, 2022. Every night, guests can enjoy a street festival. Dance to live music and talented DJs. Enjoy summer food that's so gorgeous it will star in your Instagram feed. In addition, families can participate in fun games and competitions.

Summer Nights Food

Summer Nights is known for its spectacular food choices. Over 30 items are available to taste. Guests can buy a tasting card and be treated to six of their favorite items. Favorites include a Crab Cake Slider with a Lemon Caper Aioli, Korean BBQ Burger, Loaded Potato Bowl with Queso Blanco and Hatch Chilis, Strawberry Donut Cake in a Cup, and Peach and Pineapple Shaved Ice.

Food vendors offer a variety of gluten-free and vegan choices. Gluten-free choices include Carnitas or Soyrizo Tacos with Chimichurri, Portobello Mushroom Burger with Spinach, Onion, and Sun-Dried Tomato Mayo Served on a Gluten-Free Bun and the Acai Bowl with Berries and Granola.

Vegan options include Tofu Lettuce Wraps, Caesar Salad with Kale, Brussel Sprouts, Lemon, and Corn on the Cob.

Summer Nights Music

DJ Lance Rock, who starred in the Nick Jr. TV show Yo Gabba Gabba, will perform live on the Walter Knott Theater stage. DJ Lance Rock combines dance, music, education, and play in two unique shows. Bring your dance shoes and enjoy the Let’s Play or Everybody Dance show.

In addition, catch live bands on the Calico Mine Stage, watch Miss Kate's Western Burle-Q Revue, and check out the variety of musical guests throughout the summer.

Knott’s Soak City

The best way to cool off this summer is at Knott's Soak City. Located across the parking lot from Knott's Berry Farm, you'll need a separate ticket for the water park. Soak City has water slides, a massive wave pool, and a relaxing Sunset River. Have an epic water fight at Beach House with 200 water guns and sprayers.
